This set of four "Antler" armchairs was designed in 1966 by Sakakura Associates for Tendo. Characteristic is the finely branched frame, whose shape is reminiscent of antlers and demonstrates the precision of Japanese molded wood technology. The combination of molded plywood and solid beech wood appears light, yet remains structurally clear and resilient. As a group, the chairs develop a calm, architectural presence that fits well with dining areas, meeting rooms, or minimalist Mid-Century Modern interiors.
