This hand-knotted Rizbaf rug combines dense knotting with the lively feel of hand-spun wool. Its high-pile texture feels soft and calm in the room, while also being robust enough for everyday use. The motifs reflect stories from the lives of the Gashgai and Lori nomads, sometimes nature-inspired, sometimes geometric. In its large size of 296 by 223 cm, it adds color without being loud, and brings tangible warmth to stone, wood, or concrete.
