This Wohnhilfe chair, designed by Jacob Müller in the early post-war years, embodies Swiss functionalism. In 1945, Müller, together with master carpenters from Eastern Switzerland, founded the Wohnhilfe cooperative to make functional furniture from inexpensive solid wood accessible. Characteristic features are its clear construction and the concept of disassembling and reassembling. The proportions appear calm, the lines precise. The chair has been restored and is in good vintage condition. Price per piece.
