The Modo-S coffee table emerged from an architectural context: In the early 1970s, Jacques Schader designed a suitable table for the reception areas of the IBM headquarters on General-Guisan-Quai in Zurich. It was distributed by INTARC AG, in the sphere of Gian Franco Legler's interior concepts. The form remains deliberately understated. A clear square, calm proportions, wood as a warm counterweight to the office world of the time. The table is vintage and shows signs of wear that honestly reveal its origin.
