Four Einpunkt chairs by Hans Bellmann for Horgenglarus. Designed in 1951, they remain an example of the understated precision of Swiss design to this day. The name refers to the constructive principle: the seat and frame are connected by a single screw. This seems minimalist but is consistently thought out and surprisingly stable. The warm brown and clear proportions are suitable for the dining table as well as for a quiet studio. The set shows signs of wear, thus preserving the patina of a long-used everyday classic.
