Product details
Sculptural sterling silver shell. The relief surface follows the scallop shell, with finely crafted grooves, vibrant between patina and shine. Three sculptural feet in the form of stylized seahorses support the shell and give it stability on the table. A piece with maritime tranquility, solidly crafted, present without being loud. Functional in the entryway or on a sideboard – for nuts, small treasures, cards – equally suitable as a solitaire piece. Formally rooted in Mid-Century design, with echoes of Italian and American silver workshops. Weight and proportion appear balanced.
