Arne Jacobsen's Ant 3101 is one of the quiet icons of Scandinavian design. Designed in 1951 for the canteen of Novo Nordisk and produced by Fritz Hansen from 1952, the chair impresses with its precise silhouette and the curved shell made of form-pressed veneer. Lacquered in black, it appears graphic and understated, both at the dining table and in a work environment. The chair is stackable and pleasantly easy to place. Traces of use in the lacquer tell of a well-loved object without losing its character.
