The Caruelle table by Georg Albert Ulysse Caruelle appears almost austere at first glance. This is precisely where its quality lies. Designed in the 1930s and produced by Embru in Switzerland, it is a precise tool for everyday life. The swiveling tray can be adjusted horizontally or vertically and removed if necessary. The circumferential wooden strip securely holds books, tablets, or sheet music in place. A second, smaller tray disappears under the main tray when not in use. Maple, very good condition.
