An Eames lounge chair with ottoman by Charles and Ray Eames, early generation with labels from Herman Miller and Vitra. Designed in 1956 from the desire for an armchair that is both a relaxed retreat and a modern statement. The chair rotates smoothly and sits deep and quietly. The wood shows a beautiful, aged surface, small chips have been professionally repaired. The aniline leather is generally well preserved, with visible signs of wear on the seat and armrests, as well as a darker ottoman cushion.
