This stool by Charlotte Perriand was created for the Les Arcs holiday resort in the French Alps and embodies exactly this attitude: functional, minimalist, warm in its material. Made from pine wood, it functions as a seat or as a small side table next to a sofa or bed. This particular piece is originally from the resort, though not from its initial furnishing. Its original condition is well preserved, with light signs of wear that give the surface a calm look and patina.
