Product details
Large vintage vase from the Empoli glassworks, Italy. Hand-blown in Alexandrite glass, which shifts from blue and violet to mauve and pink depending on the light. The bulbous body and wide, slightly twisted neck are fully textured with geometric reliefs. This softly breaks the light and makes even empty surfaces exciting. Fine air bubbles in the glass tell of the handcrafted production. More rarely found as a vase, more commonly as a carafe.
