This vintage teapot by Pichon combines French studio ceramics with a Japonisme-inspired silhouette. The flat body rests comfortably in the hand. The short, delicate spout and round handle appear precise without being severe. The brown, hazelnut-colored stoneware features a speckled glaze with darker nuances that gains depth in the light. The signature "Pichon" is incised on the base. A piece for the table that naturally brings together utility and ceramics as an object.
