Der Vitra 670 Lounge Chair mit Ottoman zählt zu den bekanntesten Sitzmöbeln des 20. Jahrhunderts. Charles und Ray Eames entwarfen ihn 1956 für Herman Miller, kurz darauf übernahm Vitra die Produktion für den europäischen Markt. Dieses Exemplar aus den 1960er- bis frühen 1970er-Jahren zeigt die klassischen Masse mit einer Daunenfüllung, wie sie bei späteren Modellen nicht mehr verwendet wird. Die Holzschale aus Palisander wurde professionell restauriert und neu geölt, das schwarze Leder aufgearbeitet. Als Loungesessel verbindet er skulpturale Eleganz mit dem Komfort eines gut eingesessenen Sitzmöbels.
