Product details
This candlestick from Biot dates from the 1960s and was originally intended as a lamp base. The black metallic glazed ceramic appears calm and almost sculptural. A slender silhouette meets a wide, stable base. A clear plate shape sits at the top, and the round handle on the side adds a graphic accent. It works equally well as a large light object on a table or on the floor, or as a starting point for careful re-electrification. Traces of time are visibly part of it and do not detract from its effect.
