Product details
The Safari pendant lamp by Nordisk Solar demonstrates the precision of Danish functionalism. Designed in the late 1970s by Christian Hvidt, Peter Hvidt, and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen, it combines technology and tranquility. Three overlapping shades and a perforated dome diffuse the light softly and evenly. Its 47 cm diameter makes a clear statement without being overpowering. Model 41099, winner of the iF Product Design Award in 1981. In white, made of aluminum, the lamp has a light and graphic appearance – ideal above a table, sideboard, or in an entryway.
