A 1970s cantilever chair, Italian, attributed to Gastone Rinaldi (Rima). Chrome-plated tubular steel creates a clean, sculptural line; the seat, upholstered in soft black faux leather, features fine stitching. The springy construction allows for comfortable rocking motion – at the dining table or at a desk. Typical of Italian modernism: minimalist, functional, and elegant. In good vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of wear: light scratches on the chrome, minor abrasions on the upholstery, see photos. Proportioned for extended gatherings; the flexible base makes the chair appear larger.
