How do I recognise mouth-blown glass?

By tiny air bubbles, slight asymmetries and often a pontil mark on the base. Pressed glass shows mould seams instead. Both have their charm; we name the technique with each piece.

Which eras does the glass decor come from?

From delicate Art Nouveau glass through Bohemian crystal to the bold colours of Murano and Scandinavia in the sixties and seventies. It is the mix that keeps a collection alive.

How do I clean delicate vintage glass?

Wash by hand in lukewarm water, dry with a soft cloth, never in the dishwasher. Lime haze in vases dissolves overnight with diluted citric acid; rinse thoroughly afterwards.

How do I display glass objects at home?

Glass lives on light: by a window, on a sideboard with a lamp behind it or in groups from the same colour family. Three heights side by side do more than ten scattered singles.

What counts as vintage and what as used?

We carry both. Vintage covers pieces from around 20 years old, used is anything that already had a home. Every product page lists age, condition and origin.

Do you also take glass objects from private sellers?

Yes, gladly. Submit your pieces through the Sell page, we look at condition and demand and give you an honest assessment.
