The UNESCO chair was originally designed by the Swiss designer and architect Robert Haussmann for the Salle Suisse in the UNESCO building in Paris. Due to the different design variants, the comfort and the unobtrusive elegance, the cantilever chair has developed into a showpiece in the Swiss Design collection. Since the chair was suitable for series production, it was also sold internationally. The chairs with armrests and gray leather cover are in good condition with signs of wear.
