Seller's description
Charles and Ray Eames designed the elegant aluminum chairs in 1958. Instead of using a seat shell, as was common at the time, they stretched a fabric or leather strip between two aluminum side parts. Today, the couple's unmistakable office chair is one of the design classics for the home office. This is a rotating and height-adjustable model with wheels, covered with green-brown Hopsak (fabric). The shell is mounted on a frame that has gas springs for height adjustment. The office chair also has a tilt function. This chair is in good condition with slight signs of wear.
