The Eames Segmented Tables came onto the market in 1964 and were not only equipped with individual legs like the Contract and Universal Base tables, but with a sophisticated base system: the table size could be changed as desired using base frame extensions and a selection of table tops of different sizes. The Segmented Tables, which are suitable as both a dining table and a conference table, are still valued today thanks to this variability. The model on offer with a white HPL table top and base made of polished aluminum and black standpipes is in very good condition.
