Rico Baltensweiler and Rosmarie Schwarz, who were still unmarried at the time, developed the first lamp for their own use in their residential workshop in Lucerne in the early 1950s. Many architect friends liked the Type 600 Model 51 so much that the first series of 10 was produced. With the series of lights for living and office areas, the company also grew larger. The company has now been converted into a family company. The table lamp, designed in 1970, is in good condition with slight signs of wear.
