A tripod plate with two handles carries a removable intermediate ring and a domed lid with a ball finial. Beaded friezes and shell motifs on the handles and feet decorate the surface; the inside of the lid bears a stamped mark with a five-pointed star and Arabic script. Probably made in the 1950s to 1970s, the piece shows slight patina and age-appropriate signs of wear.

Details

Designer/brand: no brand given, probably Moroccan manufacture

Material: silver-plated metal

Color: silver

Dimensions: 40 cm width with handles, 30 cm diameter plate, 4.8 cm height base; intermediate ring 25.5 cm diameter, 4 cm height; lid 21 cm diameter, 9 cm height with finial

Condition: very good overall condition with slight patina, some silver loss inside, signs of use and scratches, especially on the bottom of the plate

Origin: Morocco, Mid-Century, probably 1950s to 1970s

Special features: stamped mark inside the lid with a five-pointed star and Arabic script, weight approx. 2 kg
