The transfer print with daisies, grasses and vines was hand-accented with color, typical of French Art Nouveau. The slightly scalloped rim and simple foot let the decor stand out both inside and outside. Despite being over a hundred years old, the bowl shows only minimal signs of use.

Details

Designer/Brand: Longchamp, Terre de Fer

Material: Ceramic, polychrome painted

Color: Multicolor, pink, purple, green, yellow, brown

Dimensions: Diameter 25.5 cm, height 13.5 cm, foot diameter 11 cm, bowl depth approx. 6.5 cm

Condition: Very good condition, slight signs of use, small manufacturing flaw on the rim

Origin: France, Art Nouveau, circa 1890 to 1910

Special features: 'Pâquerettes' model, hand-accented details

https://www.2nd-home.io/en/products/vintage-keramikschale-paquerettes-von-longchamp-art-nouveau-41660
