Rico Baltensweiler and Rosmarie Schwarz, who were still unmarried at the time, developed the first lamp for their own use in their residential workshop in Lucerne in the early 1950s. Many architect friends liked the Type 600 Model 51 so much that the first series of 10 was produced. Four years later they developed the “little sister” of the Type 600, the Type 60 table lamp. This is a new light.
