Set of two cantilevered armchairs designed by the architects of the Centro Studi for Matteo Grassi.
Based on the iconic Bauhaus design by Mart Stam and Marcel Breuer.
Chrome-plated tubular steel and cognac brown leather.
Leather back with “Matteo Grassi” embossing.
Italian production, late 1980s.
Very high quality workmanship.
Overall in very good vintage condition with minor expected signs of age and patina as shown in the photos. There are superficial scratches and creases on the leather but all consistent with age. Condition well represented in the photos. No cracks on the seat or backrest.
Structurally excellent.
